Have you ever wondered why you hear about electric vehicles but never seen a place to plug it in? If enough people join this group it could make a difference in getting off oil. All you need to join is an electric service that has more power than your home or business normally uses "day or night" and internet service. Of course you would need a spot to install a special electric meter that can be hooked up with security to your internet. The electric meter would not interfere with your service by hogging your electric. You would not have to deal with the costumer. You would have an account on a web site not started until enough people join. In your account you would have the ability to turn off availability of your meter and GPS location. My ebike only needs a small service like most people have so a lot of people could help with a station tailored to their electric service.
Gas guzzling toys finish exhausted.
Any one up for posting their location for usage of an outdoor plug? Place the words public plug on a donation box next to the plug. I would think a proper donation would be double the electric rate.
